White sand in an azure frame
Off the coast of the Caribbean Sea where the Mesoamerican Reef makes littoral sea smooth and perfect for swimming there is a snow-white Villa Esencia.
The villa was built for one Italian duchess, and in 2005 it has begun to be used as a hotel. In 2014 Kevin Kendle bought the villa Esencia, he embreathed a wind of change into it and put some freshness and art in the hotel since his being a collector of pieces of art and antiques. New furniture was designed in medieval Mexican and European styles for the villa. On the walls, there are paintings of Spanish and Latin American artists. Among them, there are pictures of Pablo Picasso, Fernando Botero, Eduardo Santiere.
The main building became the center of the 20 hectares estate. From the building 29 paths lead to suites and villas, two restaurants, a bar on the coast, two large swimming pools, a day spa and one phyto-bar. Indoors, the house is decorated with elements of interior design made by Pierre Jeanneret, Serge Mouille, Piere Guariche. As for the exterior, nature took care of it – all is muffled with Yucatan jungle and sands of Xpu-ha Beach. In this pristine place tradition of the past are intertwined with the current cosmopolitan times.
Under the shadow of the lush foliage, one can plunge into the water of one of the two swimming pools. Going deeper right into the heart of the garden one can find the day spa under a thatched roof and contemplate the magnificent beauty of nature without any difficulties.
Terraces, rest areas with sea or garden view are an indispensable component of each one suite. And in villas, private pools and cozy patios became an integral part. As well as the white Xpu-ha Beach is an inseparable part of the Caribbean Coast.
